I have a copy of Mary White's will which lists her daughter Elizabeth White Kennon as an heir and her son-in-law John Woodson Kennon [Methodist minister] as an executor. I know that she came to Amite Co., MS with several children, probably David and James who were listed in the 1810 Census; I know that her son and my ancestor Alfred had children born in SC[Barnwell Co.?], then he followed the family to MS by 1816; I know that there was a Methodist Church connection and meetings were held at White's Camp Ground, home of "Mother" Mary White on or near the Amite River; I know that Mary White's will was written in 1817 and probated 6 Sep 1819. I have a source that says Elizabeth White Woodson was the daughter of John & Mary White of NC [Northhampton Co.?]. Maybe we can share & exchange info and possibly find a link between the White and Tarver families.
