The will of John White who married Mary Barker clearly eliminates him as the husband of "my" Mary White. No doubt that she moved with family to Amite Co., MS and that is where she died. I copied her will in the Amite Co. Courthouse. With your permission I would like to share the will info with the White/Barker researcher who contacted me. Was John's will listed in the ancestry.com will file? Back to our investigation..I have reviewed all my White family info several times over, hoping to glean some new leads. I am well documented to Alfred; Mary's oldest child, I think. I've researched most of his children, have a copy of his Amite Co. will. All of this I have in a Family Tree maker file, and I would be glad to share it with you if you're interested. He was the son who remained in SC when his mother, brothers, and sisters left for MS.
