She was a dau. of Henry Monroe Dykes, b. abt 1855, and Mary Elizabeth Schilling. Henry and Mary Elizabeth were mar., I'm told, in Tangipahoa Parish, La.; just a hop skip and a jump from Amite Co., Ms. If you find a connection, I'd appreciate the info.
