May come from the "islands" (? Honduras, Haiti..). Some family members where listed and from the Ormand and Destrehan Plantations. -possible names of connection, McCutcheon (?en, on) and Butler. -some found listed in the "Rost Home Colony" - Freedmans Bureau Records of Louisiana. Also has anyone researched documents of former slaves of the 'Little Red Church" ? Located between/near these to plantations? -some family appear to have remained in the area, with others moving to East Baton Rouge and New Orleans; and Mississippi. -Thankyou for any leads, advise given.
