    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lIB.2ACE/625.1 Message Board Post: Based on the wording of your post, your grandmother is still living, correct? I imagine you could call her, if possible, and ask her what her maiden name is. If for some reason you aren't able to get it from her, you can ask another family member or her son Eddie. If neither of them knows, there are a few routes you can go... I suggest looking at the census in 1930. Go to your local family history center and use Ancestry to locate Eddie and his father Willie Joe. All names that are on the 1930 census are indexed online, so you could even put in a search for Grandma Lillie and find her. Be sure to search using variations of name spellings too. From there, you can back to the 1920 US Census. For this one, only the heads of household are indexed online. This means that you will have to locate your grandmother based on her maiden name as she would only be 11 years old. If you do not have her maiden name, look for MS records for marriages before or around 1928 to see if you can find your Willie Joe. If you locate him, in or around Chickasaw, with someone named Lillie, it's possible that it is your grandmother.
