I did find that he was married to a Fannie with about four kids. I found another Minor who was married to an Eliza with kids. I believe Minor's relative was a Marshall Herring. The white family maybe Edger Herring as his family was on the same page as Minor's family. I found John and Mamie Sanders with their kids, plus a Robert Herring age 6 in 1920. But, I also found Freddie with a Robert Guss Brown age 6 in 1920, with her husband Albert Brown. He may have been visiting one of the homes when they took the census, as he was listed as John's nephew. Freddie at 14 was listed with a sister, Wessie, also 14 and their mother Eviline Sanders in 1910. I think her and John's parents are Parris and Adline Sanders. They had a daughter Missouri and 7 grandkids living with them. In 1910 Paris, Adlne, Missouri, Augusta, and Lee (gson) were living together. The family DID NOT live in Natchez, as I found all of this information from Franklin County Meadville, Mississippi. I believe that Robert Herring was born on 2 July 1913 and died 21 Sept. 1998 in Seattle, WA. His social security card was from California #557-05-6226. You can order a social security application to verify his parent info, etc. I located a Robert Herring age 26, he was married to Alma and they had a 2.5 yo son named Walter - couldn't verify who he was exactly. The info on Freddie is DOB: 28 Aug. 1893 and DOD: Dec, 1973 in Franklin Co., MS 39653 social security #425-50-9642. I did find a Freddie Nelson married to a James Nelson in 1930 in Panola, MS - I am not sure if she is the same Freddie Nelson. Hope this helps to get you pointed in the right direction.
