Apparently both grandparents on that side were "love children", in that their parents met and mated but then went on to marry other people. As best I can figure it out my paternal grandfather's (Wilson Pittman, b.1880 in Phillip MS) mother was named Holly Moorehead, and HER father named Rufus Moorehead. Holly later married a George Ely but no one seems to know much about her. Well, these cousins couldn't go back any further than I, but I was struck at the oddness of the name - there are only two in the local phone book. Is ANYONE else doing research on this name. BTW, these folks tend to have a sixth finger. They say it causes twins, but I'm not that sure. Comments, anyone? EDDA R.
