Hi, Does anyone have more information on this family? Samuel "Sam" Evans born May 1855/1858 probably in Clarke Co., MS. Married Amelia "Millie" Washington. Amelia was born abt. 1860/1868 and died in St. Louis, Mo on Dec 12, 1926. Sam and Amelia are listed in the 1880 Clarke Co., MS census. Also the 1900, 1910 and 1920 Jones Co., MS census. Known children are: 1. Ida who I believe married a Sidney Bonner. Ida died between 1910/1920. 2. Nancy who married 1st James Overstreet. 2nd to George McInis/McInnis (they moved to MO) 3. Reece born May 25, 1885 in Clarke Co, MS. Married Edora Graham (they moved to Montana) 4. Samuel "Sam" born either Oct 1895 or Nov 1897 in Jones Co., Ms. 5. Rufus or Pete born abt 1902. 6. Frederick "Fred" born Oct 29, 1903. Married 1st wife ? in Jones Co, MS. Died Aug 31, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. I would appreciate any help. Thanks! Diane Payne in Seattle, WA
