Hi: I don't have much on George McLin,Maclin,Macklin, but I do know that the name is spelled differently in various places. The George Macklin that I have is Blk, and lives a few doors from a White McLin. I found Albert McLin age 61, E?a age 36 Female, Scott age 11, Jane age 9, Ann age 6, George age 5, Willie age 21, Calvin age 3/12. This George was found on pg 19..Stamped pg 225, Scott Co, Morton P.O., MS state. Family dwell 134, house visit 134, line 17. This was found in Ancestry.Com 1870. If this is your connection, would you please email me? My family may have been with your family before the Civil War. I am working on that "Brick Wall" that most Black people hit in the yrs previous to 1870. Hope this info helps you.
