I am looking to find Simon's parents. This couple had 3 children and certainly possibly others, they are: 1. Robert Fairconture, born April 1889 2. Ernest E. Fairconeture, born August 7, 1896 3. James Fairconeture, born April 1898 Simon, married twice, his second wife's name is: Announcier Simmons. Samuel was born on April 16, 1915, in Andalusia, Alabama (Covington County) to the late Oliver Holt Sr. and Lena Holt. Samuel was united in Holy Matrimony to Rosa Lee Wiley, in 1934, who he loved for 65 years until she passed away in 1999. In his early 20's he moved his family to Youngstown, OHIO, and settled in Mansfield, OHIO, where he raised seven children. He enjoyed hunting; fishing, singing, church events and community activities. For 30 years he worked at the Mansfield Tire & Rubber Company in various positions as a Union Representative for Mansfield Tire and worked for Leland Hotel. Deacon Holt was a member of the Greater St. John Church of God in Christ. He served under the leadership of Elder Walter E. Jordan Sr. and the Adjutant to the late Elder Ward. He became one of the founding members for more than 60 years. He was dedicated and very active in the church until his health failed. He served in several capacities ministry including District Superintendent, Senior Deacon of the Deacon Board at Greater Saint John's COGIC. and Emeritus Deacon, Oasis of Love, Dr. Walt Jordan, Pastor. He was a faithful member of the Men's Department; served as Sunday School Teacher and student. He serviced the community at large, never allowing economic, ethnic, or religious issues to deter him from service. He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Deacon Oliver Holt, Jr., Mansfield, Ohio; four daughters, Myrtle Boone, Santa Monica, CA., Louise (Lonnie) Eatmon, Barbara Holt and Karen Levins, all of Mansfield; one son, Timothy (Debbie) Holt, Mansfield; 24 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of many special nieces, nephews, family and friends. Homegoing services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be 1 hour prior to the services at The Oasis of Love, 190 Chester Ave., with Dr. Walter E. Jordan officiating. The burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosa Lee Holt; a son, Sam Holt Jr.; a daughter, Jean H. Jordan; four sisters, Pauline Smith, Mabel Morrison, Maryam Nabeebullah and Dr. Ruth Hayes; two brothers, Otto Holt and Rev. Paul Holt, Sr.; special sons-in-law, Sam Levins and William Henry Jordan. He was born March 27, 1951, in Greenwood, Mississippi, (LeFlore County) the son of Ernest and Mary Frances Bush Moore Sr., residing in this area for 55 years. Mr. Moore was employed with General Motors Lordstown, Ohio for 40 years as a Material Handler. He was a 1970 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, where he placed second in the state in wrestling. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church, Louis Mitchell Elks No. 222, NAACP Life Member, March Club, A. Phillip Randolph International Locals 1714 and 1112 and formerly of King Solomon Lodge No. 57. He also enjoyed sports, fishing, Cleveland Browns Booster, coached the Little Browns and ran for Warren, Ohio Mayor in 1971. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Margaret V.
