PA . I don't know if he left Berks Co. PA with 1752 Peter five years after the revolution and was in the same places or not. After PA, Peter spent 6 years in MD (possibly Frederick Co.) and 22-23 in Winchester VA (Frederick Co.). Brother Jacob could have had a son named Peter b. ca. 1816 since 1752 Peter named a son named Jacob b. 1805. There are many who believe (no proof) that the brothers' father was named Peter. 1805 Jacob married Lettice Coulter in Cane Hill AR. His sons, William A. and James served on the Confederate side. 1752 Peter had a son named Peter, but he married Betsy Connell 9/1/1807 in Davidson Co. TN He had children: Clotilda Formault; Isaac Moyers; Joel S. Moyers; John C. Moyers; William C. Moyers. The name can be found spelled Myers (etc.) in many places and was pronounced that way though spelled Moyers (in my line). Some descendants ended up with the Myers spelling. Did 1816 Peter J. come from MD or VA before arriving in OH?
