I consider the father of William C. Moyers to be the Peter Moyers who died at age 66, according to an article in a biographical review published in 1893. According to court papers filed filed 12 Aug 1837, he died in 1835, with a court administrator appointed for his children in June Term of Court 1836. Peter would then be somewhat older than the census would indicate. Is the census data you list from 1820? If so, the male 16-18 is unknown to me, and William was not yet born.
