Actually, my Catherine was on 1840 and 1850 Washington Co. vA census as birthplace VA, then in 1860 its down as NC. Go figure. Rowan Co. NC or Montgomery Co. TN and these other dudes you mentioned are a possibility as the likely suspect. The search goes on. What fun.
