Casper, seen by my eyes as MIER MEIER MIERS MEYER, MEYERS, MAYER and MAYERS. He was a major land holder in the Frederick/Monocacy areas, Frederick Co., MD; just minutes from PA border. He had a son named Samuel. I know his other sons, one Casper Jr. did make his way down to Greene Co., TN along with the other brother Christopher's son Christopher Jr. whom is confused many times for the "other" Christopher MOYER, son of George MOYER whom settled 1717 Germanna Colony. Don't confuse them, as I did many times. This is more then likely you're man. Casper MAYER MIER entered this country abt 1735 from Ulm, Wurtemburg, Germany. He died by the late 1700's as land tax records cease to exists by this time. Christopher MOYER SR, Casper's son remains in Frederick area as a major land holder. His son is the one that migrates into Greene Co., TN having family already there. If I can ever get a new scanner I'll re-upload better shots of the records I have. I'm working on that one.
