Gale, I didn't find any more on any Peter's 1816-1819 in the Montgomery or Washington Co areas of VA that I am researching. He wouldn't show up on either 1810 or 1820 census. Although, it is a possibility he was visiting children in that area, maybe he even stayed with my Catharine Myers Lindsey who was most likely busy with 3,4, or 5 kids, eldest b 1813. The New River, Holston, and Clinch Rivers were jumping off points for TN and KY settlement, so these VA counties are likely places for him to be coming from Frederick Co along the "road". Did this Peter have a daughter named Catherine b. ca 1792-1796??
