MOYER, Catharine, wife of J.M. born Oct 15, 1789; died May 9, 1852. MOYER, John George, born Sep 7, 1783; died Oct 22, 1804. MOYER, Johannes, died Dec. 11, 1786; aged 67 years. MEYER, Elizabeth, wife of J.G. M. born Jan 30, 1779; died Apr 7, 1855. MEYER, John George, born Oct 13, 1774; died Oct 21, 1826. And here's a tidbit of what I typed this afternoon. *NOTE: Among the taxables in HEIDLEBERG TWP, PA in the year following the seperation of BERKS COUNTY from LANCASTER 1752, are Jon MIRE and Henry MIRE. Six years later, John MYER is assessed for his worth; Henry MYER; Isaac MEYER. This Isaac MEYER, the founder of MEYERSTOWN, PA was assassinated in a public house at MEYERSTOWN, pA on July 15, 1770. Someone shot him through a window after nightfall. Isaac MEYER was born on Jun 4, 1730 and is buried in the old cemetery of TULPEHOCKEN REFORMED CHURCH. Isaac MEYER was Justice of the PEACE and a very prominent resident in his section of settlement of MEYERSTOWN, PA.
