My MYERS, whom were at one time MAYER/MAJOR's were what I understand orginally from VA. And the MOYERS that my ancestors married into also at times dropped the "O" making them MYERS. I know that many of my gg's and ggg's children and cousins left Tennessee and migrated into OK, TX, MO and IL and even as far away as CA. I believe some might have migrated back into VA and possibly KY as well as WV and OH. They really liked to move around. I know that John and Pearl MYERS here on the board are in California. My ggg's youngest son, James Earl "Erly" MYERS and his wife Rachel Tennessee HEADRICK, both born in Sevier Co., TN migrated out to the Fresno are of CA. Wondering if anyone is connected.
