Immigrants ,George & Anna Barbara Moyer) A son Andrew VAUGHT b. c1721 m. Elizabeth _____moved c late 1760's from Agusta/Rockingham Co Va.to what was then part of Botetourt Co. Va. and today is Wythe Co. Va. i. George VAUGHT b. c 1745 m. c1781/2 Christina Phillippi in Rockingham Co. Va. i. ABRAHAM VAUGHT m. Mary (Polly) SWECKER 24 July 1827 in Wythe Co. Va. [ An interesting item about Andrew VAUGHT is the fact that he and some of his 7 sons were Loyalists during the Revolution. During the trials after the war , Andrew's sons John, David and Andrew were released for good behavior but were fined 1,000 pounds each.
