Hi,Helen We had a man named "Goodlow Gay" who was sherriff, I think, In Sequoyah county, Oklahoma, back in the 30's or 40's. I don't know any others there or anything about his family. I don't know if this is any help, but it might be a lead. Sallisaw is the county seat.
