Christian b 1763, son of Johannes Mayer b 1741 d 1809 mother unk. Johannes was born in York, PA. His father was Christian MAYER b 1714 d 1788. Christian MAYER, son of Marcus "Marx" MAYER b 1684 d 1740. Marcus was born in Gross, Schsenheim, Ulm, Stadthauptmann, Lauingen but migrated in through Annapolis, MD; migrating up to Carroll County, back into the Monocacy River area of today's Frederick, Maryland. From there he made his home in York, PA and had family in Lancaster and Philadelphia, PA. He also had family that stayed in Frederick; some headed for Baltimore City; a few headed down into the Carolina's; still a few more headed westerly into VA and from there it's anyone's guess. Though I have first names for the above mother's, both Margarett(a)'s/Margaret it's speculation. -- Chrystie MYERS - ROOTSWEB.COM List Administrator - [email protected] BROOKOVER, COWGER, KRABAL, MOYERS, MYRES, SWECKER
