George Moyer's first land grant of 400 acres and the above families lived on White Oak Run ( originally called Island Run) a branch of the Robinson River. ( Both of George Moyer's land grants are in what is today Madison Co. Va.) Since neighbors of these early German settlers were relatives or in-laws, I am now working to determine the relationship between the Yager, Keiffer,Harnsberger, Broyles and Rouse families with that of George and Anna Barbara Moyer. George Moyer's other land grant of 498 acres was located on Deep Run, a branch of the Robinson River. His neighbor's there were , George & Anna Barbara Mayer [Volck] Utz, Peter Weber and Matthias Castler. I would appreciate any information from other George Moyer ( 1717 Va.
