Chrystie, Helen, I have more information on the early history of these Presbyterians in Tennessee (and VA) if you are interested. Rev. Samuel Doak's cousin, Ann Doak may be my gggg grandfather Moses Lindsey Sr.'s mother-in-law, making her my ggggg grandmother. Anyway, that's part of the info I am supposed to be sending you later about the Lindsey-Myers connections in Washington Co. VA. (Don't make the mistake I did once and confuse the Washington Counties in TN and VA). They are different, but these same Presbyterians show up in both places. They didn't stay put. Did you know that not only is there a First Presbyterian Church a few miles from the Pigeon Forge area of TN; but there is also a Pigeon Forge River in Washington Co., PA near a church of similiar name.
