Pardon this intrusion, but in case in anyone is interested I finally decided to part with the book, MAYER FAMILY written in 1878 by Brantz MAYER, son of Christian MAYER ­ published as a Private Family Collection. I just placed her over at Ebay for sale. I need the money and it¹s not my direct line. The exact same book, not a replica, is sitting in Peabody Conservatory¹s (for Music) Genealogical & Historical Holdings Library here in Baltimore City, Maryland where I reside. I know, it¹s where I first found her. There were only 100 printed. The librarian told me she knew of no others.... And I found this one from a guy in California about 2 1/2 years ago. I paid more then 150 dollars for it and yes, I had it checked out at Peabody and its¹ authentic. She¹s aged but still in good shape. I didn¹t think of putting this out here but then I thought that maybe someone from this line would really cherish this book, as I have.
