Baltimore County Chancery - 1798 Ludwick LITTLE vs Catherine MYERS (widow), Catherine, Hannah, Eve, Elizabeth, Mary, John and Esther MYERS (all of Baltimore County) On 11 February 1790, Ludwick LITTLE conveyed unto Henry MEYERS, now deceased, by deed of mortgage for Land tracts - Good Neighborhood, and Addition to Perseverance (120 acres, both tracts adjacent and lying in Baltimore County) for 330 pounds current money. Catharine LITTLE w/o Ludwick released dower in mortgage. Since then, Henry MEYERS died intestate in Frederick County sometime in 1796, leaving a widow, Catherine and seven children: Catherine, Hannah, Eve, Elizabeth, Mary, John and Esther MEYERS, all minors under the age of 21 and unmarried. The widow and Daniel LEISTER (he of Baltimore County) has since taken letters of administration of the estate of Henry MEYERS. Daniel LEISTER was also named as guardian of the minor children. Little wishes to pay the balance and receive proper title but court action is necessary since there are minors involved.
