I have seen Urich(k) MYERS... on no. Here I go again. MYERS, on my maternal great grandparents side were from either Morgantown or areas in and around there. Some headed back to PA or strayed into OHIO. I use to travel up those parts way back when while my aunt did most of the genealogy work (I was a teenager an uninterested, just went along for the ride). I've asked this before but go for it again. To all reading. If anyone has MOYER / MYERS in WVA/OH see if you have any LEMLEY, THOMAS, BROOKOVER, WHITEMAN, STEWART, ANDERSON'S and SIMMONS married into them. If so, please let me know :) Chrystie MYERS BROOKOVER, COWGER, KRABAL, MOYERS, MYRES, SWECKER --------------------------- # --------------------------- Rootsweb List Administrator - [email protected] Homestead for MYERS GENEALOGY.COM at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~chrystiem/myersfam.html > > Hi, It's been a while since I sent anything out her and hopefully someone > out there will have a connection. Hi Helen and Wallace! Helen, the MEYER Book from Gary MYERS (if he's the one in OHIO) is a normal good book. It't the booklet going around for 40.00 from a Mary GAUSMAN that's a ripoff. She took information from out here and is selling it to all the MOYER(S) MYER(S) etc.. People actually seen her with the stacks of printed email right before print. P.S. All of the GAY material I've put out on the MOYERS board was sourced from the Westminster Library, Carroll Co., MD Genealogy section. Just a few short miles from the PA border. Other GAY infor I got out of old Tazwell, Co VA books I have lying around the house:) I bet them ribs were goooooood!!! Chrystie, I found the Ellis Island database at Rootsweb Review, vol 4, No, 15 on Apr 12- 01. When I first went to it, I got on just fine but haven't been able to since because of the reason you stated. I went to the Immigrant "Wall of Honor" and I think I found my grandmother from Czekoslavakia. If you goto http://www.virginia.edu/gwpapers/indexes/colonial/blist.html you'll find many letters in the Geo. Washington collection through VA State Univ. online now. There is a MYERS, though I see no mention of the letters I found at the Lib. of Congress; there are 4 letters from different BLACKBURN'S though, whom intermarried with the MOYER(S) / MYERS line of VA and TN.
