Casper, seen by my eyes as MIER MEIER MIERS MEYER, MEYERS, MAYER and MAYERS. He was a major land holder in the Frederick/Monocacy areas, Frederick Co., MD; just minutes from PA border. He had a son named Samuel. I know his other sons, one Casper Jr. did make his way down to Greene Co., TN along with the other brother Christopher's son Christopher Jr. whom is confused many times for the "other" Christopher MOYER, son of George MOYER whom settled 1717 Germanna Colony. Don't confuse them, as I did many times. This is more then likely you're man. Casper MAYER MIER entered this country abt 1735 from Ulm, Wurtemburg, Germany. He died by the late 1700's as land tax records cease to exists by this time. Christopher MOYER SR, Casper's son remains in Frederick area as a major land holder. His son is the one that migrates into Greene Co., TN having family already there. If I can ever get a new scanner I'll re-upload better shots of the records I have. I'm working on that one. Hopefully by the 1 week of September. Look for my postings out here which I will announce. Chrystie

Tennessee Records - MYERS, Susie E.; age, 27 years, 4 months, 14 days; daughter of Sarah and Samuel MYERS of TN.** This is mostly likely you're guy; recorded in the early 1800's. If you're familiar with migration patterns/reasonings and when TN became a state, you'll learn more on how to trace Samuel. His records are either in NC or VA; poss. even KY. Many came down from MD/PA and sat waiting in these states while the Militia tried to remove the Indians. Some settlers surged on anyway, but many waited. NC gave up their land holdings for what is now TN. TN was known as "the land south of the Ohio River area" pre 1800'. Ohio also had many pioneers settled into TN 1796-1800. NC had many many settlers that surged westerly. Look in Washington Co., Greene, Jefferson, Grainger, Sumner, Lost State of Franklin, TN. I have found no evidence that there were three Peter's there. Working with the censuses, Peter (the immigrant) if he were in Lincoln County, did not have young sons living in his home - which he supposedly had. The most logical way to have it work is that there were two Peter's in Lincoln Co. The Peter born in 1752 was the Revolutionary War soldier and the senior Peter. Now if only I could find the parents of Feraby Felps.
