There is an Alumbaugh connection in my Burton/Fletcher line-- Margaret Ann Alumbaugh, b Wright County, 1888, married Charles Horace Fletcher, b Wright County, 1877. They eventually moved to Moran, Kansas. Charles Fletcher was my grandmother's (Bessie Fletcher Burton) brother. I'm not researching Alumbaughs, but if there is a connection, will be delighted to supply information on descendants. I have a photo of Charles and Margaret. She was absolutely lovely.
