Vearl Rowe is nearing 97 years old, if he's not already there. He moved to Springfield a few years ago....not because he thought he needed to, but because his only living daughter talked him into it as she was the one who needed to check on him. He was having a little trouble walking....but could still drive anywhere he wanted to. Anyway, I had temporiarly lost track of him, but just recently learned that he had moved from "The Gardens" to "Elfindale Manor." According to the story, he had decided that he was going to die and had given up working on his website and genealogy. However, his daughter heard about our "Tales" book (which he would have already had except that I didn't know where he was) and bought one to take and read to him. Although, he can't hear very well. So, when she had read to him for awhile and had to leave, she was going to take the book with her. He told her to just leave it. The next day when she went to see him, he was propped up in bed reading and enjoying the book. So, if he's helped you, or if you think he can help you,......his mind is clear and he knows more about Wright County than anyone else that I can think of. Phyllis
