Jordan 6, Thomas Jordan 3, Mary E. Jordan 3, Samantha J. Jordan 9 months and Elender's Wadkins offspring Johnathan Wadkins 21 Indiana, Phillip Anderson Wadkins 18 MO, William C. Wadkins 16 MO, Samuel J. Wadkins 14 MO, Margaret Wadkins 10 MO. On the federal Civil War pension index: William Jordan applied for a pension, served in the 8th MO Cav. Elender Jordan applied for a pension in the name of her deceased son Phillip Anderson Wadkins/Watkins. William Jordan also had 2 stepsons who were in the 8th MO Cav. with him. My interest is the Civil War records for this family and some others who were in 1860 Wright Co. There were more 1860 Wright Co. Civil War veterans who applied for pensions, but their military service was "discredited" or not found on company rosters. Appreciate any information.
