Hi Gloria, I noticed in one of the census records where the children of "Duke" cantrell is mentioned that it states..........A Cantrell (no other information)....His name was Aphraim or Ephraim Cantrell he died around 1854 in Wright County and probably was buried near Cantrell Creek.........His family then moved to Laclede, Washington, and Jefferson Counties in Missouri and then to Arkansas......
