    1. Little Creek
    2. Phyllis Rippee
    3. I have added the name David Riley Jamison to the Little Creek Cemetery annotation. He came to Wright County from Buffalo, KS and died May 1, 1911. His death was caused by blood poison which resulted from the scrach of a cat. His grave is unmarked, but information was sent that he is buried in Little Creek Cemetery. Also, our Historical Society President, Clyde Rowen, is currently having some kind of health problem. He has quite a bit of pain in one leg and the first diagnosis was a hernia. When he went in for surgery, the surgeon told him that he didn't think that was the problem; ordered a cat scan and sent Clyde home. The latest word is that the Dr. has called him in for a consultation. Please add him to your prayer list and/or hold good thoughts for him. Phyllis Rippee Wright County Historical Society

    2. Diane O'Quinn
    3. Hi List... I was hoping someone out there might have photos and information on a Lora E. Vestal b:March 1888 d: 1965 Buried at Mt Zion Cuba Cemetery. who was married to a Edward "Ed" O'Quinn on 2-24-1909 He was born on 3-8-1881(82?) and died 5-4-1939 Buried at Mt Zion. I only have a couple early photos of Ed and was hoping someone out there maybe in the Vestal family could come up with some photos of them together or some photos of Lora.I think I was told that Ed and Lora used to run the poor farm up by Phillipsburg. Lora's second husband was William Jackson (Buried at Cuba Cemetery) I think Lora's parents were Henry Martin "Hughey" Vestal & Mahulda Catherine Jones. Please e-mail me if you know more about these families. This is about all the info that I have. Thanks! Diane O'Quinn doquinn@centurytel.net (__) (oo) /----------- \/ / I I I * I I-------I I ^ ^ ^ ^

Surnames: Story- Chambers-Moore Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jMB.2ACE/796 Message Board Post: "Tom" left Tn after the Civil War and came to MO with his wife, Sarah Eliza Moore b 21 July 1834 and possibly three children.Their names are Thomas Starnes Chambers b 23 May 1862 TN; Mary UKN date, and another son, R.F.,UKN date. Somewhere I have read that they lived in Wright Co MO for awhile. In an obituary from Rockwall Co TX, it says, "They came to TX from MO in 1872, and then in the fall of 1872, they moved to Rockwall Co TX." Thomas died 25 Jan 1908 in Rockwall Co TX and Sarah died 31 Mar 1902 in Fate Rockwall Co TX. They are both buried in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. They were probably in MO for the 1870 Census, but so far, I haven't found the family. I haven't looked at all the counties. So, I am hoping someone has Chambers in their family, and have seen this family on a census. The son, Thomas Starnes, is the ancestor I am following. Thank you for any help. Joy
