Surnames: James Donald Patterson 1837 - 1910 Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/jMB.2ACE/897 Message Board Post: Searching for ancestors and history of James Donald Patterson (born 19 Aug 1837 - died 22 Nov 1910) and his son Elza Solon Patterson (born 13 Mar 1881 - died 23 Apr 1937). James and his wife Nancy Emaline Bowman (born 9 May 1840 - died 28 Nov 1910) were both residents of Missouri and are both buried In Coweta, Oklahoma. They were stricken with a fever while in Oklahoma and died within a week of each other. Family information says Elza and his wife were with James and Nancy at the time. Elza's wife asked to be taken back to Missouri and either died entoute or shortly after. In comparing dates it is probable she was his second wife as records of another researcher indicate a marriage to Oma Nipper who died much earlier. Elza had three known sons, who I personally visited as a young boy. The eldest was Marion and twins Jim and Dick. I have no records of them. As best I remember Marion lived in Lebanon and Jim & Dick lived together just outside the back gate of Ft. Leonardwood, near Falcon, Missouri. Elza married Dora Leola Delcour, my grandparents, and moved to Oklahoma in 1911. Dora was known as "Granny Pat" and many researchers have recorded her name as Dora Valentine Delcour in error. Her given name was Dora Leola Delcour, b Feb 14, 1883, d Aug 9, 1965. Granny Pat lived with my family and helped raise me until her death in 1965 when I was fifteen. I have headstone photo's of James & Nancy, Elza & Dora and many of their decendants in Oklahoma. Hopefully this spring I will be traveling to the Lebanon area to gather information first hand. Until then I am searching for as much as possible online, and through the help of others, to assure my efforts around Laclede County are as productive as possible. Thank you in advance for any information about my family. Larry Collier

We have been working on the Teubner Family for some time now, but David has proven to be hard to follow as he moved around quite a bit. It appears in later years David and Elizabeth seperated. Elizabeth remained in Missouri until her death and she is buried in the Kincheloe Cemetery near Competion, MO. The last record we have of David is that he lived in a boarding house in Topeka, KS. My name is Cindy Johnson from Littleton, Colorado. I am 46 years old and I am your cousin. Actually my mother Ruby Mae would be your cousin. Her mother was Daisy Pearl Inmon known as "Pearl". Her mother was Lily May Caudle Inmon. Lily's father was Ellis Newton Caudle and his father was Ellis Caudle. Her mother as you know was Mary Isabelle Beaman and her father was Thomas Beaman. You can go to the Beaman Family page and go way back with her family. It appears that David Teubner was her second marriage. I haven't spent a lot of time on David Teubner. Our gggrandfather Benjamin Franklin Inmon was the son of Golden Inman. Somewhere down the line the "a" got changed to an "o". I have search this name a lot and have determined that Leonard must have misspelled it somewhere along the way. The way I found Benjamins parents was from the history Peal wrote about the Inmon's. She said that Benjamin died May 21, 1900 (something like that) and that his daughter Lavernia drowned in Mar, 1900. There is a cemetary in St Francis Township, Butler, MO that has a Benjamin and Lavernia Inman that were buried on those dates. You can find Ben as Frank Inman. Susanne his wife was born to Calvin Edmonds and Lucinda Tittle. There are a lot of people working on this line right now. I have more info, if you send me your address I can mail you some stuff. my direct email is cjo_58@earthlink.net. I did meet Ted when I was a little girl. He took us fishing when we visited the farm in Missouri. I saw the farm this year in May, it made me cry. My Uncle Sonny Simpson, Pearl's son, still lives in El Paso and retired from the railroad. My mother Ruby and myself were also born in El Paso. I met Ted's second wife Bea. I don't remember meeting anyone else. Thanks for the reply. Cindy

As far as I know they were from Misouri. My father says they had a large beautiful farm that got sold. Leonard L. Inmon had a sister named Pearl Inmon. Leonard's parents were Benjamin Franklin Inmon and Suzanne Edmonds. Lily May Inmons parents were Calvin Caudle and Mary Isabelle Caudle. Mary Isabelle's maiden name was ! Tuebner. Mary Isabelle's parents were Elizabeth Jane Tuebner and David Tuebner. Elizabeth Jane Tuebner's maiden name was Beamen. David Tuebner was born in 1830 in Germany. I have posted other info. on some other questions that came up under this message board containg these names - Inmon, tuebner and Edmonds. I don't know anything about the cemeteries or churches in Misouri. Leonard Liones is my great grandfather and Benjamin franklin is my great great grandfather. But My great grandmother who is Leonard Liones mother Lily may caudle, my fathers grandmother she died in 1980 or 1981. Could you tell me who were Lavina and Melvina? I don't have a clue. My father didn't even know any of these other names till I started researching things on the internet. Well, please e-mail me. My e-mail is Suealin@ktc.com. My name is Rebecca Inmon again. Vearl Rowe is nearing 97 years old, if he's not already there. He moved to Springfield a few years ago....not because he thought he needed to, but because his only living daughter talked him into it as she was the one who needed to check on him. He was having a little trouble walking....but could still drive anywhere he wanted to. Anyway, I had temporiarly lost track of him, but just recently learned that he had moved from "The Gardens" to "Elfindale Manor." According to the story, he had decided that he was going to die and had given up working on his website and genealogy. However, his daughter heard about our "Tales" book (which he would have already had except that I didn't know where he was) and bought one to take and read to him. Although, he can't hear very well. So, when she had read to him for awhile and had to leave, she was going to take the book with her. He told her to just leave it. The next day when she went to see him, he was propped up in bed reading and enjoying the book. So, if he's helped you, or if you think he can help you,......his mind is clear and he knows more about Wright County than anyone else that I can think of. Phyllis
