Patterson were living in Laclede, Missouri and the household was as follows: James D. and Nancy E., children were Theresa B. (12), Edgar W. (10), Oscar F. (9), Millard R. (5) and Cordelia E. (1). My grandfather, Elza Solon, was born in 1881, one year after this census. Elza S. Patterson & Oma E. Nipper (born June 20th 1886 in Missouri) marry on 4 Oct 1903 - Laclede Co. Marriages - Book H.....Page 140 Elza and Oma had three sons. The oldest was Marion and twins James "Jim" Patterson and Richard "Dick" Patterson. Oma died 18 Nov 1908 and is buried in Porter Cemetery. Her three sons died later and are also buried there in the same row. Later Elza (age 29) marries Dora Leola Delcour Crisp (age 27). Marriage License dated August 18, 1911 to Elza Solon Patterson of Pine Crook, Missouri and Dora Crisp of Manes, Missouri issued Laclede County, Missouri.
