I figured they wouldn't appreciate a response from me, since our parting of the ways. I, too, once thought Henry/Andre Boyer was the son of Antoine Boyer and Marcellite Page, until I stopped and looked. Their son Henry was born in 1835. The Andre/Henry married to Celeste Tangue married in 1847. He would be but 12 years of age. Then I went back to look at the marriage record and the witnesses. Signing as witnesses are J.B. Boyer, a D. Boyer, C. Boyer, several Tangue names and Antoine Riendo. Those names correspond to the 1850 household of the Widow (Marie) Aurora (St. Germain) Boyer, widow of Jean Baptiste Boyer (J.B. Boyer). She and JB had a son Donotian/Donatian Edward (D. Boyer?) and living in the household in 1850 is her adult grahdson, Antoine Riendieu, Riendo. Additionally I have in my notes that Jean Baptiste Boyer and Marie Aurora St. Germain did have a son, Andre, born in Ste. Genevieve about 1819. This will need verification, of course.
