From what I can put together, she might have been a young widow, whose name I found on a Marriage Record for 1 May 1872. Felix Boyer was married to Mrs. Rose Ann Small in Washington County by John (?) Boyer, Justice of the peace. I don't know which Felix Boyer (there were at least two I believe). Rosanne Small was living with I.M. Michael (Israel/Isreal Mitchell) and his wife Virena/Verna (Small) Mitchell in the 1870 Census for Belleview, Washington County.
