I've "rescued" an old photograph of John VALLE of St. Louis, Missouri which was taken at the Strauss Studio in St. Louis. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with John in his teens or 20's at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding John and his family: John Felix VALLE was b. 14 Dec 1861 in St. Louis, MO to parents John Baptiste VALLE (b. 1 May 1828 in St. Genevieve, MO) and Lucie Mary DESLOGE (b. 8 Jun 1836 in Potosi, MO). John Felix VALLE married Blanche Isabelle HOLLAND (b. 16 Mar 1870) on 7 Aug 1912 in New York, NY at St. Patrick's Cathedral. John F. VALLE died 14 Feb 1951 in St. Louis, MO and is buried at the Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis MO.
