She was born January 28, 1929 at St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Francis and Mamie (Crabtree) Sweeney. Louise was united in marriage to Raymond Schrader on January 26, 1954 in Texas and seven children were born to this union. Mr. Schrader preceded her in death on February 6, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son; one brother, Lewis Sweeney, Sr., and a sister, Wanda Gibson. Those who remain to mourn her passing are six daughters; Ranee Gierer and husband Richard of O'Fallon; Danette Lehnhoff and husband Timothy of Belle; Rose Demis and husband Jay of Smith Station, Alabama; Joyce Golian of Catawisse; Pam McGee of Lake St. Louis and Theresa Bogle and husband Eric of Owensville; nieces, Brenda Ross and husband Don and Chris Mersal; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2005 at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, with Father John Caffe as celebrant. Serving as pallbearers were: Jason Gierer, Andy Brandon, Jeremy Bogle, Matt Lehnhoff, James Gierer, Alston Golian, Raymond Lehnhoff, and Kaleb McGee. Interment was in the Montauk Cemetery at Salem, Missouri under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, June 9, 2005
