Surnames: Jamison, Moyer, Martin Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lNB.2ACI/3930 Message Board Post: THE INDEPENDANT JOURNAL Potosi, Washington County, Missouri March 25, 1948 Mrs. Frances Ann Martin Dies Friday, Mar 19 Frances Ann Jamison, daughter of Capt. and Eliza Moyer Jamison, passed away at the home of her son Lee Martin, near Irondale, on June 13, 1855, being at the time of her death 92 years, 9 months and 6 days of age. She was united in marriage to William Martin and to this union was born one son, who survives, with whom she made her home. "Aunt Ann" as she was known by her relatives and friends, spent all her life in Washington County. She was a devoted wife and mother and a kind and loving friend to all who knew her. To know her was to love her. Early in life she was united with the Presbyterian Church at Irondale. Besides the son, she is survived by three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at Irondale Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Robert Siedentoph officiating. Interment was in Caledonia cemetery.
