Surnames: BLOUNT, SEASE, STANDLEY, HILLEN, Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lNB.2ACI/3918 Message Board Post: Grandchild/Niece of Potosi Residents Died In Auto Crash Virginia Casey "Ginny" Blount , grandchild of Lucille Blount and Hattie Sease and niece of Eunice Standley and Helen and Ed Hillen, all of Potosi, was killed in an auto accident near her home in Painseville, Ohio early in the morning of January 27, 1982. She was 20 years old. Ginny and a ladyfriend were returning home when their car was struck from the rear by a tractor-trailer rig whose driver had lost control of the vehicle. Both ladies died instantly. Ginny was employed as a salesperson at a shoe store and was attending a community college in nearby Mentor, Ohio. She was planning to transfer to St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana in September. Survivors include her parents, Allan and Catherine Sease Blount of Painesville, Ohio (formerly of Potosi); two sisters: Mrs. Greg (Karen) Stafford-Smith of Lakewood, New Jersey and Susan of Painesville, and a brother, Joe, a senior at Vriginia Tech University. Also an Uncle, Dale Blount, his wife Jeann and their children, Mary, Ceil, Theresa and Tom of St. Louis. Funeral Mass was said at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Mentor, Ohio and interment was in All Souls Memorial Cemetery in neatrby Chardon, Ohio on January 30.
