She was born May 6, 1908 in Potosi, a daughter of the late Ferdinand and Mary (Govero) Sansegraw. She was united in marriage to Clyde Biggerstaff at Potosi on September 1st, 1938 and five children were born to this union. Mrs. Biggerstaff was a wonderful wife and mother as well as a wonderful friend to all who knew her. Those who remain to survive her include her loving and devoted husband: Clyde Biggerstaff of 714 Mineral, Potosi; one daughter: Marvel (Mrs. LeRoy Chazelle) of Star Route 287, Potosi; four sons: Murle Biggerstaff of Greenville, Mississippi, Bill Biggerstaff of Potosi, Bob Biggerstaff of Ferguson and Ray Biggerstaff, stationed with the U.S. Marines in California; eleven grandchildren; one sister; Bessie Morgan of Potosi; four brothers: Firmin Sansegraw of Gerald, Missouri; Juel Sansegraw of Potosi, Eliza Sansegraw of Ferguson and George Sansegraw of Arnold; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Biggerstaff was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Funeral Mass was scheduled for Thursday, August 23, 1979 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, with Rev. Fr. Donald J. Koch the Celebrant. Interment planned in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, under the direction of Gum and Son Funeral Home, Potosi, Mo. Article was listed in a book of Obituaries at the Washington Co. Library, Potosi. No date of issue of paper.
