Hardin, Jr., 77, of Richwoods was born November 1, 1928 at DeSoto, a son of the late Clyde M. Sr., and Grace (Drennen) Hardin and died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at his home. Mr. Hardin was a machinist by trade. He owned a machine shop in DeSoto and also served as Machine Tool Technology Instructor for Jefferson College Vocational School. Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Campbell) Hardin, Richwoods, three sons and four daughters. Gale Bliss, Venice, Florida; Marcia (husband Bill) Smith, DeSoto; Diane Irwin, DeSoto; David Hardin, Kansas City; Julie Hardin, DeSoto; Tracey (Doug) Murray, DeSoto and Dewey (wife Amy) Hardin, DeSoto; two step-daughters; Cathy (Rodney) Adams, Potosi and Billye (Jeff) Villmer, Richwoods; a sister, Wilma Gans, DeSoto; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marion and Dale Hardin. He was a member of DeSoto Masonic Lodge 119, A.F. & A.M. and Unity Baptist Church, Potosi, MO. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at First Baptist Church, Luckey, Missouri with Rev. Gary Conway officiating. Burial was in Luckey Cemetery.
