Leach of Cadet, Missouri was born February 1, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life Friday, October 28, 2005 at her residence having reached the age of fifty-seven years, eight months and twenty-seven days. Helen was united in marriage to Dale Eugene Leach September 26, 1966 in Illinois, and this union was blessed with two daughters. Helen is survived by her mother, Esther (Valle) Courtaway of Cadet; two daughters, Gena M. Suiter and husband Nick of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jennifer Gann and husband Roger of Richwoods; a sister, Cindy Courtaway of Cadet; two brothers, Kenneth E. Courtaway and wife Georgia of Cedar Hill, Missouri and Dennis Courtaway of Cadet; three grandchildren, Nickolas Suiter, Nicole Suiter and Tyler Gann; mother-in-law, Evelyn Leach of Phoenix, Arizona; very best friends, Mary Huett and Krystle Huett of St. Louis and nephew Matthew Courtaway and wife Amy of Abilene, Texas. Helen was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Courtaway and husband, Dale Eugene Leach. Helen enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball and collecting baseball memorabilia. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends. Helen loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world and cherished her loving memories of her beloved husband, Dale Leach. Helen attended St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines, Missouri. Visitation was held Monday, October 31, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Burial took palce in the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Roger Gann, Nick Suiter, Kenneth Courtaway, Matthew Courtaway, Walter Rickard and Rick Valle.
