He was employed by Kirbeig Roofing as a roofer. Mr. Drope was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Dina (Dettrie) Drope, Cadet; mother, Marrianne (See) Eldridge and father, Darwin Eldridge, Richland, MO; a son, Cotie Drope and a daughter, Tiffany Ann Drope, Cadet; four sisters, Patricia "Trish" (husband Rusty) Boller of Louisiana; Anita (Ralph) Dupriest, Augusta, Georgia; Tina Eldridge, Richland, MO and Laura (James) Moore, Sweetburg, MO; two brothers, Edward Drope and Vincent Van Heusen, O'Fallon, MO; a grandson, Adam Keith Dierks, Cadet; other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Mahn Funeral Chapel, DeSoto. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
