Ringling, 86, Crystal City (formerly of DeSoto) was born May 19, 1919 at Richwoods, MO, daughter of Tracy Whitfield and Israella (Scott) Farnham and died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at the Fountainbleau Nursing Home, Crystal City. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a son, David (wife Bev) Ringling, Hillsboro; a daughter, Gloria Martin, Herculaneum; two sisters, Emily Matthes, DeSoto and Dorothy J. Williams, Glendale, MO; a brother, George Farnham, Mr. Zion, Illinois; four grandchildren, Stephanie and Steve Ringling, Cheryl Moore and Rhonda Demarest; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Jake Moore, Andrea Moore, Hattie and Callie Demarest, Isreal and Grace Ringling and Brian Reynolds; other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Ringling, a brother, Floyd Farnham, and three sisters, Maxine DeClue, Helen Porter and Margaret Trimbath. She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, DeSoto, where she was a Sunday School teacher. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2005 from Dietrich-Motherhead Chapel, DeSoto, with Rev. Bryan Crousore officiating. Burial was in Ebeneezer Hope UCC Cemetery, DeSoto.
