(Potter) Walton. He departed this life Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at his residence, having reached the age of eighty-four years, one month and twenty days. Rusty is survived by two daughters; Marianne Cochran and husband Randy of O'Fallon, Missouri and Susan Seagraves and husband Ronald of Wright City, Missouri; one brother, Elvin P. "Buddy" Walton of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kim, Michelle, Lisa and Bree; eight great-grandchildren; Coty, Caden, Ashley, Amber, Justin, Joshua, Kyle and Lacey; one great-great grandchild; Alexia and sister-in-law, Madeline Walton of Ballwin, Missouri. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Carter, Virgil and Jess Walton. Rusty was a sixty-three year plus member of the Blue Lodge where he was currently an active member of Potosi Lodge #131 A.F. and A.M. Rusty had transferred to the Potosi Lodge from Webster Groves Lodge #184 on July 11, 1994. He was initiated August 1, 1942, passed on September 26, 1942 and raised on November 19, 1942. Rusty had a deep appreciation for the Masonic work and its beliefs which lead him to be very active in the Scottish Rite Order. He was a past member of the Shriners and the Order of Eastern Star Browne Chapter #320, Potosi, Missouri. Rusty enjoyed sports, especially boxing and baseball. He also loved to spend time wiht his grandchildren playing and sharing stories. Rusty was a very caring and loving person who will be missed deeply by his family and friends. Visitation was Friday, August 5, 2005 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 6, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home in Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel in Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Jerry Compton officiating. Burial took place at the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Services were entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
