She was born in St. Louis, July 24, 1967, the daughter of Lucille V. (Smith) Adkins and the late Jesse D. Ivie, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard and Bessie Honea and William P. and Rosie Ivie; great grandparents, Edward F. Smith and Hazel E. Martin; a brother, Jesse D. Ivie, Jr., and a niece Sabrina Renee' Ivie. Arlita brought lots of laughter and fun to all who knew and loved her. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her beloved husband, William Joseph Tiefenaur; three children, David Troy, Jessica Deann Chisholm and Jimmy Dwayne Barron; mother-in-law, Denise Tiefenaur; step-father, Oliver W. Adkins; two brothers, Randy (wife Sandy) Ivie of Valles Mines and Rodney (Michelle) Ivie of Festus; one sister, Kathleen (husband Joseph) Brown of Park City, Florida; ten nieces, seven nephews, four great-nieces, a great-nephew, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. at Ironton Pentecostal Church of God with Pastor Rev. Harvey Buckley and Rev. Firmin Gettinger officiating. Burial was at the Oddfellows Cemetery at Bismarck. Memorials may be directed to the family for funeral expenses. Cozean Funeral Home, Farmington, was in charge of all arrangements. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, August 11, 2005
