MO, Fri. July 4, 1952 Mrs. Maxine Bornman Adams of Flat River, wife of Herbert Adams, passed away at Bonne Terre Hospital on June 28, 1952. A daughter of Fred S. and Helen G. Bates Bornman, she was born at Belgrade, Mo., on December 10, 1908, and at the time of her death was 43 years 6 months 9 days of age. She had been ill ten months. She is survived by her husband, a son, Pvt. Jack Adams, in service in Korea, who came here because of his mother's death; a daughter, Norma McCormick of Okinawa; a brother, James Bornman of Brighton, Ill.; and two sisters, Miss Lillian Bornman of St. Louis and Mrs. Virginia Kidd of Hillsboro, besides other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Monday morning, June 30, at the Desloge Catholic Church, and interment was in Parkview Cemetery. Raymond Caldwell & Son Service.
