Hedrick of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Farmington, Missouri having reached the age of 64 years, 4 months and 14 days. She was born at Belgrade, Missouri on December 4, 1941, a daughter of the late William Estel and Ella (Stroup) Goodson. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Lela Harrison and a brother, Everett Goodson. Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include two daughters, Ruby Robbins and husband Gayle of Farmington and Anita Cain and special friend, Joseph Doss of Festus; four sons, Steven Ray Hedrick and wife Mary of Potosi; Dallas Hedrick and wife JoAnn of Potosi; William Hedrick of Potosi, and Roger Hedrick of Potosi; three brothers, John Goodson and wife Winona of Palmer; Kelly Goodson and wife Karen of Belgrade and William Goodson of Mineral Point; seventeen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; nephewes; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Funeral services wre conducted Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri, with Rev. Wendell Nipper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Jason Carter, Joseph Cain, Jeffrey King, Joey Kean, D.J. Hedrick and Clive Hedrick. Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, April 27, 2006
