MO, Friday, December 13, 1935 Mrs. William R. Gibson passed away Sunday, December 8, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sam Wright of Bonne Terre, aged 74 years, 11 months, 22 days. Funeral services were held at the White Oak Grove Church of Richwood, Tuesday morning at ten o'clock by the pastor, Rev. Hubbard, assisted by Rev. Ragsdale of Bonne Terre, and she was laid to rest in the White Oak Grove Cemetery. The Benham Undertaking Company was in charge of arrangements. Six sons of the deceased served as pallbearers. Celia Anne Gibson was born in Washington County, Mo., December 16, 1860. On November 5, 1878, she was united in marriage to William R. Gibson. To this union ten children were born. Two daughters preceded her in death, one in infancy, the other in young womanhood. The husband passed away 16 years ago. The surviving children are: Hiram, Brad and Solomon Gibson of Potosi; Izaac Gibson of Huzzah; James Gibson and Mrs. Francis Compton of Shirley; John Gibson of St. Louis, and Mary (Mrs. Sam) Wright of Bonne Terre. She also leaves forty-one grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Sarah Vance of Potosi, other relatives and a wide circle of friends. In early girlhood Mrs. Gibson united with the White Oak Baptist Church, where she remained a member until death.
