She departed this life Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi, Missouri, having reached the age of eighty-one years, three months and twenty-seven days. Mary LeaEllea is survived by five daughters; Judith Ann Greene of St. John's, Missouri; Susan Diane Mercurio and husband Robert of Imperial, Missouri; Deborah Lee Holtschneider and husband Mark of Overland, Missouri; Janice Rae La Rue and husband James of Ripley, Tennessee and Tammy Lynn Thebeau and husband Kevin of Potosi; one son, Paul Edmond Peters and wife Patricia of Maryville, Illinois; one sister, Norma Brewer of Joplin, Missouri; four brothers, Donnie Wilson and wife Janie of Potosi; Eddie Wilson of Potosi; Bobby Dale Sloan and wife Glenda of The Villages, Florida and Billy Gale Sloan and wife Zita of Charlotte, Sout Carolina; seventeen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary LeaElla was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Doris Davis and Loretta Greenlee. Mary LeaElla loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening roses and flowers. Mary LeaElla also liked to spend her time playing Bingo, going fishing or dancing with her many friends. She enjoyed eating her favorite meal, crab legs at the boat. Mary LeaElla also loved to sit and watch old movies. She was a very caring and loving woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Visitation was held Friday, May 5, 2006 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 6, 2006 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Leonard Compton, Pastor Terry House and Pastor Randy Starkey officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Brad Thebeau, Joseph Wilson III, Jason Peters, Tyler Thebeau, Rick Elder, Mark Holtschneider, Joe Wilson Jr., and Kevin Thebeau. Burial took place in the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Services wre entrusted to the care and direction of the Moore Funeral Home, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri, Independent Journal, Potosi, MO, Thursday, May 11, 2006
